MENTORSHIP

We are looking to mentor four professionals in the music industry - one in music industry entrepreneurship, two in digital PR and one in radio plugging. The mentorships will consist of weekly video calls, open lines of communication during work hours and shadowing working campaigns.

The aim of this programme is to help the mentees build a rounded skill set in order to grow their own businesses or forge their own path in the music industry.

We would like to give this opportunity to marginalised voices within the industry. As such, we are particularly encouraging applications from BAME candidates, women, LGBTQI+ candidates and those with disabilities.

Ideally, one PR mentee, the radio mentee and the entrepreneurship mentee would be based in London. The second PR mentee would ideally be based in Manchester. This is so that post-lockdown the mentees would be able to attend face-to-face meetings and pitches. However, we are open to remote mentorship where accessibility isn’t always possible for the candidate.

We would like the mentorship opportunity to grow into a real, working relationship where the candidate would consult on ongoing projects and campaigns.
